The youth teams from Rugby Club Drachten and Rugby Club Heerenveen unexpectedly qualified for the Dutch Rugby Championship. They officially play a whole division lower than the other qualified teams. As a cluster team with clubs from Friesland, they managed to finish in the top 10 in the Netherlands! A fantastic achievement and a truly enjoyable event to capture for these young players, their coaches, and their parents.

I was commissioned by Drachten Rugby Club and Heerenveen Rugby Club to document the entire Dutch Rugby Championships for them. They especially wanted to capture the team bonding during this event. They also wanted to capture all the emotions clearly, as this was a very special day for the team.
