Ultimate Solarboat challenge
The client
The Ultimate Solar Boat Challenge is an event featuring two classes: the Young Solar Class and the A&M Class. These classes compete in self-built solar boats powered by solar energy. The stages are spread over several days. In this special edition, the boats will sail the Eleven Cities Route, passing all eleven Frisian cities.
I was commissioned by TUSBC 2025 to take photos during this event. I was able to closely follow the A&M class during the Elfstedentocht (Eleven Cities Tour) to take photos of the participants, boats, and teams. It was a very fun and challenging assignment, with many different locations and a quick reaction time during the shoot.
